Document Recognition v2

Not supported in Widget Workflow, only Remote and WebView.

  1. "Identity verification" screen and format choice: "Passport / Booklet" or "Card / ID".
  2. Camera with a frame and the hint "Place the document exactly inside the frame". The component itself tells the user what to fix: "Camera out of focus", "Move closer", "Make sure there is no glare on the document", "Hold the document straight", "Keep the device still". In low light: "Too dark. Please turn on the light or move to a brighter place".
  3. The frame is captured automatically, then the second side.

Recognition has a time limit.

Retry-screen messages and their causes are listed under Failure reasons.

The number of attempts is a setting. After the last attempt the check ends with a failure.

MRZ

Reading the machine-readable zone of a passport. The screens match Document Recognition: "From camera" or "Upload file(s)", then the camera or upload. Scanning time is limited, the number of attempts is a setting.

MX-Document

Mexican documents (INE and others). Screen "MX document scanning", buttons "Use camera" and "Upload file(s)".

When scanning: "Place the front side of the document in front of the camera", then "Flip the document to scan the back side". The shot is taken with "Take a photo".

Uploads support jpeg, jpg and png files up to 24 MB.
